Kevin and Ashley’s story began in 2018, tucked away in the quiet corners of the library at Austin Peay State University. Kevin and Ashley crossed paths while studying for physics a subject that would unexpectedly spark more than just academic discussions. What started as study sessions quickly became something deeper. They soon realized they weren’t getting much physics done at all; instead, they found themselves laughing, talking, and supporting each other through the ups and downs of their demanding majors. Those long afternoons turned into heartfelt conversations about faith, dreams, and life’s little challenges. Through it all, Kevin and Ashley built a strong foundation of friendship. They encouraged one another in their walks with God, lifting each other up spiritually and personally. Their bond grew stronger with every late-night vent session and spontaneous dinner/lunch outings. Exploring new restaurants and sharing stories became their favorite escape from campus stress, and somewhere in the midst of it all, love began to quietly bloom. By 2021, both Kevin and Ashley found themselves single again and began to wonder if the connection they had all those years was something more. Taking a leap of faith, they decided to give a relationship a try. Not long after, Kevin officially asked Ashley to be his girlfriend and the rest, as they say, is history. Today, their love story continues to grow stronger with each passing day. Together, they’ve built a beautiful life and share their greatest blessing, their lovely daughter, Kennedi, who is the light of their lives and the heart of their little family.
