We first crossed paths when Kevin was on a work travel assignment in Los Angeles, while he was residing in North Dakota at the time. Our connection began with some lighthearted flirting at work, which eventually gave way to Kevin summoning the courage to ask Ari out for drinks one evening. From the moment we sat down, there was an instant spark, and time seemed to slip away effortlessly. Kevin found himself smitten, and it didn't take long for him to make the decision to relocate to California. Little did we know that a casual night of drinks would mark the beginning of something truly special.

During our trip to Paris, we embarked on a tour through the majestic Palace of Versailles. As the tour concluded, we found ourselves in the enchanting gardens surrounding the palace. Leading the way, Kevin guided us to a secluded spot, free from the presence of other tourists, where he began setting up a tripod under the guise of capturing "vacation pictures." Amidst a series of seemingly innocent "practice" shots, Kevin persuaded Ari to pose with our backs to the camera. It was in that very moment that Kevin produced a ring and gracefully dropped to one knee. Immediate shock crossed Ari's face as the realization dawned, and she joyfully exclaimed, "Yes!" Unbeknownst to Ari, Kevin had orchestrated a surprise encounter with a photographer to immortalize the magical moment.
