We are having this wedding no matter what. We understand if you cannot attend due to the current pandemic.

The event will be held outside. If you wish to wear one you are more than welcome to.

Arrive at 2:30 as the ceremony will begin at 3.

How do I get to the residence if I lose my GPS signal?

Answer

Turn right at exactly 8 miles up N. Myrtle onto Slide Creek Road, Follow the road around the corner and the driveway will be immediately ahead. Please be cautious as it is an abrupt driveway.

Where do I park?

The driveway will lead you to the back field for parking.

Will I be comfortable in heels?

Answer

The ceremony/reception is in a grassy area... Please dress accordingly.

What is the restroom situation?

Answer

Mobile restrooms with a sink* will be provided for your convenience.

Will the ceremony be taking place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The entire evening will be held outdoors. Canopies will be available if weather is to change.

Pulled pork, chicken, and various sides.

Is this a potluck?

Answer

No. All food and drink will be provided.

Will alcohol be served?

We will have various wines, beers, and champagne for guests 21+. *If you plan on drinking, please make sure that you have a designated driver.

Can I post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Yes, we just ask that NO PHOTOS be taken before we say "I Do". When you do post a photo use the hashtag #GettinSmithyWithIt2020

Will there be cell phone service?

Answer

The cell service will be very limited. Please plan accordingly. If you need to make an immediate call, the residence does have a landline on site.
