The closest airport is Burlington International Airport (BTV), which is an hour drive from Sugarbush.
It's possible, but depending on the time of day, there may only be a few drivers out and about. To play it safe, you could arrange a ride with Green Cab VT or Vermont Airport Shuttle. Both companies are very familiar with the area and are accustomed to longer runs to and from the airport. Green Cab VT: greencabvt.com Vermont Airport Shuttle: 802-343-3780
If you plan to stay around the base of Lincoln Peak at Sugarbush and enjoy the pool, hiking trails and restaurants onsite, everything is walkable and you won't need a car to get around. However, if you want to explore the area a bit more (there are tons of breweries within an hour's drive of Sugarbush!), you may prefer to have your own wheels.
Since the Clay Brook and Snow Creek lodging options are located just steps from where all our wedding events will be held, we don’t plan to have a shuttle during the weekend. The first weekend of November should be pretty quiet for the resort (except for us!), so there will be plenty of rooms /condos available at both onsite locations. If you are staying somewhere away from the base of the mountain, please make sure you have a designated driver.
Vermont is undeniably chilly in the winter months, but in early November temperatures can be relatively mild. If the weather cooperates, we plan to have our ceremony outside. Bring a jacket or wrap just in case!
Yes! The Clay Brook hotel has a heated outdoor pool and hot tub, and guests who stay there also get complimentary access to the fitness center in Sugarbush Village which has an indoor pool, sauna and steam room.
