Attire is summer formal. Suits & dress shoes for men with optional jacket/tie, midi and maxi dresses for women. Vibrant colors and fun textures encouraged. Think modern, funky garden party! See the above picture (these are not required colors for attire, just inspiration) and have fun with it!

The ceremony will take place outdoors, without cover. The reception will be in a covered area with an uncovered courtyard. It will most likely be toasty so keep that in mind when you pick your attire!
Drink lots of water in the days leading up to traveling here, and stay extra hydrated while here! You will need more water, and alcoholic drinks will affect you much more quickly, so be cautious of how much you drink! Take a day or so before doing any serious hikes to allow your body to acclimate.

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm, please arrive by 3:30 to allow time to navigate to our specific location within the gardens.
Nope! Entry to the gardens is free for all wedding guests, just tell them you are there for the McLean/Wilson Wedding! They will make sure you get to where you need to go. Parking is also free in the garages across the street for wedding guests. You will have time to roam the gardens during the cocktail hour and reception as well. It's beautiful and we encourage you to explore!
Please indicate this on your RSVP. We will have a buffet style dinner prepared, and our caterers are incredibly accommodating. We are happy to provide a diet/allergy friendly meal for you, we want everyone to enjoy themselves and not have to stress about feeling sick!
We love your kids, but our wedding will be a child-free event (aside from the flower girls and ring bearer). If you do travel with your children, we would love to have them be a part of all other aspects of the weekend outside of the ceremony/reception!
