FAQs

The Wedding Website of Alexis Adkins and Kevin Cross
A lively, adventurous family of four and 2 pups, who thrive on exploring the world together. With two curious kids in tow, they approach life like one big treasure hunt—whether camping hiking or traveling to hidden trails, paddle boarding on the lake or floating down winding rivers, and uncovering the charm of off-the-beaten-path towns. Every weekend is a new expedition, filled with laughter, surprises, and lessons learned along the way. Adventure isn’t just about the places they go—it’s about the stories they create, the challenges they conquer, and the joy of discovering life together as a team.

Mountain Cocktail Attire 🌄✨ Think elevated and polished with a touch of relaxed, outdoorsy charm. What does “mountain cocktail” mean? It’s cocktail attire with a nature-inspired twist—stylish yet practical for a beautiful outdoor setting. Think: - Flowy dresses, elevated jumpsuits, or chic sets - Button-downs, slacks, blazers, or sport coats - Dress shoes, block heels, dressy flats, or polished shoes suitable for uneven ground - Layers like shawls, jackets, or wraps for cooler mountain air What should I avoid wearing? To keep the vibe cohesive and celebratory, please avoid: - Jeans - Shorts - T-shirts or overly casual tops - Cowboy hats - Athletic wear or sneakers Can I still show my personal style? Absolutely! We love personality—fun colors, textures, and accessories are all welcome. Just keep it within a cocktail-style vibe. Will the wedding be outdoors? Yes, at least partially! Plan for natural terrain and changing temperatures—style and comfort can go hand in hand here. What’s the overall vibe? Think “effortlessly elevated”—a little dressed up, a little festive, and fully ready to celebrate with us. 🥂 We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!
