Welcome to Our Story

Our story is a very 21st century story. Two kids on their phones, swiping left and swiping right on the popular dating app Tinder. I never thought she'd swipe favorably of me but I had nothing to lose so 'right' she went. Luckily for me we matched and the matching hasn't stopped since. Over the first few weeks of connecting, we chatted sporadically and kept discovering all we had in common. Our first date I'll never forget. This beautiful blonde bombshell comes bopping into Ruvo in Port Jefferson seconds after I did and she must've noticed my jaw hit the floor because she did most of the talking (for the first few dates that was the pattern). Just when I kept thinking she had enough of me, we'd make more plans. We got sushi the night after our first date, went bowling a few days later...she kept agreeing to hang out with me. The more I saw her, the more I fell in love. Fast-forward to 2018: we're living together in Babylon Village with our pup Winnie, Tracy completed her doctorate degree in Physical Therapy and we have the trip of a lifetime approaching in September. Surely this would be the time to put a ring on it once and for all. So that's what happened in Santorini in a small cafe while we sat so close to each other that she could feel my heart beating out of my chest. My favorite part of the story, besides her saying yes, is that three girls at a nearby table photographed me asking for her hand in marriage and we now have photographs we'll treasure for a lifetime. A lot has happened in just short of two years. 2019 could potentially top a terrific 2018. But we'll need everyone's help on July 5th when we become husband and wife in Bayville, NY. We couldn't ask for better family and friends to be a part of our special day...a day entirely devoted to celebrating love and companionship with those that mean the most to us.
