FAQs

If you have any other questions other than what we’ve listed here, please reach out to us directly via text or email!
Question

How are you handling COVID-19 at the wedding?

Answer

To ensure the health and safety of all our guests, including those who are immunocompromised and at increased risk of severe illness, we respectfully request that all attendees take a COVID-19 test (rapid or PCR) within three days of our wedding.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your children, the ceremony and reception will be adults only (18+) events to allow our guests a night of fun and relaxation.

Question

There's a gap in between the ceremony and reception. What should I do in between?

Answer

We recommend that guests use this time to drive to Olde Mill Inn, check in, and relax before the party gets started! Feel free to explore the Grain House Restaurant for a quick drink, or grab a coffee on Somerville Main Street to fuel you throughout the night!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If you have a plus one, then yes! If your invitation does not include a plus one, please refrain from inviting a guest.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We want all our guests to be comfortable, so please plan on semi-formal or cocktail attire.

Question

Where should guests park?

Answer

Ample parking is available for the ceremony at Immaculate Conception Church and at Olde Mill Inn for the reception.

Question

Will there be food options for those with dietary restrictions?

Answer

Food orders will be taken tableside, and Olde Mill Inn is able to accommodate many different dietary needs. They can accommodate requests for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free meals.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We plan on having an "unplugged" ceremony, so while we ask that you refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony, please feel free to take MANY pictures at the reception!

Question

Can I expect a wedding favor?

Answer

In lieu of wedding favors, we have made a donation to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) in our guests' name to honor Robin's father who cannot be with us on this special day. We hope you find this decision meaningful, and encourage you to learn more about NAMI's work at www.nami.org.
