Question

Where should I get pesos/currency?

Answer

We recommend checking with your bank in the U.S. to see if they offer currency exchange services. While credit and debit cards are widely accepted in San Luis Potosí (SLP), they may come with a small international transaction fee/percentage charge. You can also exchange currency at banks in SLP, but it's generally best to order pesos through your personal bank before your trip to ensure availability.

Question

Will my cell phone work in San Luis Potosí?

Answer

Most major carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.) provide coverage in Mexico, and many plans include it at no extra cost. Wi-Fi is widely available at hotels, restaurants, and cafés, and you can use apps like WhatsApp over Wi-Fi to send messages and make calls without using your cell plan.

When you enter your name on the RSVP tab, any additional guests included on your invitation—such as a plus one or additional family members—will be listed there. Please indicate guest(s) full name if additional guest(s) names are not listed when RSVP’ing.
