Best Man
Most Likely to Win an Award for Dad Jokes and Actually Deserve It I met this guy on the first day of college orientation, and honestly, it was like love at first sight—except, you know, more bro than romantic, and a lot more sweat involved. From day one, we hit it off, I mean he pushed me to the limits I didn’t even know existed (and then some). But beyond the gym, this guy has been my constant inspiration. He’s one of those rare people who leads by example, whether it’s with his work ethic, his ambition, or his genuine kindness. Watching him grow over the years has been incredible, and this past year, seeing him become a dad has been one of the most fun things ever. It's like I’m witnessing him level up in real-time!

Most Likely to Join a Random Group Tour Without Knowing Where They’re Going I can say this without a doubt: I am where I am today because of my incredible sister! She was definitely my blueprint growing up. But also, apologies to my sister for being a brat when we were kids. She was just way too nice, and I thought my little sister role required me to keep her on her toes! What I especially love about her is her spontaneous spirit and my friends can attest to this. Picture this: her making the full itinerary for my friends and I in Kauai that starts with a morning at the Grand Canyon of the Pacific, sprinkled in with turtle-watching, and to top it all off— adopting a dog for a day trip! And let’s not forget the ultimate mission to hit all the best food spots—all in just one day! I love every bit of it! Here’s to my sister—the ultimate adventure buddy and kind-hearted superstar. I can’t wait for all the memories still to come— especially those spontaneous side quests in between!
Best Man
Most Likely to Visit Asia and Forget to Come Back Anthony who’s basically the big brother I didn’t ask for but ended up with anyway—and honestly, I’m not complaining. We met in our college club and became my “kuya” (big brother), and from the start, he took me under his wing like I was some sort of lost puppy who needed to figure out life. Which, let’s be real, I absolutely did. But here’s the thing—he’s not just the guy who gives you life advice (although he’s great at that). He’s also the guy who lives life like it’s one big spontaneous adventure. Want to take a road trip with zero planning? He’s in. Want to try something completely random at 2 a.m.? He’s probably already Googling it. Loyal, spontaneous, and always down for a wild ride, this guy’s the friend who makes sure life never gets too boring.

Most Likely to Send a “Just Because” Text to Check In Our adventure began during the fall semester at UC Irvine. My roommate was best friends with her, so by default, I was roped into their friendship. Little did I know, I was about to meet the kindest soul I’d ever met. Our friendship really deepened during those grueling nights studying Organic Chemistry. Who knew that memorizing carbon bonds could forge such strong bonds of friendship? I mean, if you can survive O-Chem, you can survive anything, right? Even with miles between us, our friendship is like a carbon-carbon triple bond (really strong haha).

Most Likely to Have a Yoshinoya Coupon in His Wallet... and Never Let It Expire I’m pretty sure my big brother doesn’t need much of an introduction. Growing up with him was an adventure in itself, whether we were making our way through childhood shenanigans or just chatting about life, dreams, and everything in between. He’s always been the guy I could bounce ideas off of, the one who’d listen, give his thoughts, and somehow make me feel like everything’s going to be okay. But hands down, the best thing about him? He’s the reason I get to be an uncle! That’s right, he went and had a kid, and now I get to spoil a tiny human, pretend I know how to babysit, and say “Because I’m the cool uncle, that’s why!” every chance I get.

Most Likely to Suggest a Place That’s Always a Hidden Gem Just like with Jeannie, my friendship with Liz blossomed in that infamous debate class. But let’s be real—Liz is the gifted one! She’s the friend I’ve always looked up to, effortlessly friendly and so poised she could probably teach a masterclass in “How to Be The Friend Everyone Loves.”Every Wednesday during our late start in high school, Liz—who was the only one with a license—would whisk us away to Starbucks for our cute little drinks. Those outings were the absolute highlight of our week! Liz is the type of friend who knows exactly where to find the best tacos (sometimes even at gas stations!), the coziest cafes, and the trendiest spots in town. Fun fact: We now live just an elevator ride apart!

Most Likely to Build a Bomb Shelter and Move In Permanently I still remember the first time I met Karlo in 6th grade. Little did I know, this guy would not only become my go-to friend but would also introduce me to the world of eskrima (Filipino martial arts), working out, and life lessons I never saw coming. From middle school to high school to college, we shared a lot of “firsts”—first party, first time really trying to get fit. Through it all, he’s been the guy pushing me to do better, be stronger, and somehow make it all fun along the way. I wouldn’t trade those years or the countless laughs for anything.

Most Likely to Book a Last-Minute Flight Just to Catch a Concert Stephanie and I met in college, and our unforgettable adventure began when interning in Washington, D.C., during a chilly winter. When I found out she was from Cerritos, I knew I had to say hello! We spent those winter days hopping from bar to bar, celebrating her 21st birthday like it was the party of the century. Stephanie quickly became omy go-to person for everything fun—concerts, spontaneous adventures, and even the occasional night out clubbing in our office clothes! She was also the first person I confided in about Kevin, and her support has meant the world to me.Here’s to our wild adventures and the friendship that started with a simple introduction!

Most Likely to Walk into a Room Full of Strangers and Leave with a New Best Friend (or Five) Let me tell you about Gio—the guy who, by all logic, should have given me a hard time when I started dating his sister. I mean, come on, he’s the little brother! It’s practically in the rulebook that he’s supposed to give me at least a few awkward stares and make snarky comments, right? But nope, Gio skipped straight to being chill about it. In fact, he welcomed me into the family. While doing my Catholic Confirmation, Gio somehow ended up being my ninong. Gio’s the kind of guy who, despite being the little brother, somehow ends up teaching me life lessons while keeping it light and funny. I’m lucky to call him not just a ninong, but a genuinely awesome person to have in my corner– oh, and my brother-in-law!

Most Likely to Create a Pokémon Go Podcast Sharing Tips and Stories Let’s face it: most people dread public speaking, and Jeannie and I are right there in that camp, waving our little flags of fear. Fun fact: we bonded over our mutual dislike of our Model United Nations class during freshman year of high school. So, naturally, we picked each other as debate partners! We didn’t win any awards but we won the best prize of all: each other’s company. Some of our fondest memories include hitting the gym every day (just to chat, really) and our yoga sessions with the Ajjumas at LA Fitness. Now that she has found the love of her life, she has moved across many states. Here’s to visiting you in any state you end up with — even if it’s South Dakota!

Most Likely to Make a Statement Without Saying a Word (Thanks to Their Outfit) Danica’s other little brother who, honestly, is way too cool and always looks like he just stepped out of a trendsetting lookbook, and somehow pulls off every outfit with zero effort. But it’s not just his style that stands out, he’s got a great head on his shoulders, always looking out for the people around him, and knows how to keep it real in any situation. He’s the kind of guy who cares deeply about others, whether it’s family or friends, and that kind of genuine, down-to-earth vibe that you don’t see every day. Oh, and I definitely take credit for his career as a barber. During the pandemic, when everyone was trying to figure out how to cut their own hair, I let him borrow my clippers, and well… let’s just say the rest is history.

Most Likely to Book a One-Way Ticket to Another Country and Not Tell a Soul Michelle and I met in art class our senior year of high school, and I knew I had to make my move! She was the new kid, so I invited her to join the student body with me which sparked our friendship. In college, we became neighbors which then turned into being roommates! We had weekly Boiling Point sessions to chat about college life, which evolved into monthly Thai food outings in Newport Beach where we strategized our careers and navigated the challenges of adulting. Through it all, Michelle has been by my side during major life transitions—from high school to college, tackling early careers, and now stepping into family life. Here’s to many more adventures and delicious meals together until we’re gray and old!

Riley Bear is the ultimate third wheel and the constant sunshine in our lives. From the very beginning of our dating phase to our engagement, and now through our married life, Riley has been there for every step of the way—tail wagging, leading the charge on all our walks to parks and marinas, and of course, adding her special touch of fluff and fun. When it came time to choose a venue, we didn’t have to think too hard—of course, we picked somewhere we could bring our puppies and visit one of Riley’s favorite spots: the marina! After all, we often make our decisions based on what would make her happy—because let’s face it, she’s our little princess, and her happiness is always our top priority.

Now, let’s talk about our newest little bundle of energy—Ellie, aka Riley’s best friend, and the newest baby in the family! It’s hard to believe it’s already been a year since she came into our lives, but from day one, she’s been adding so much adventure to our home. Whether she’s chasing squirrels (and sometimes getting a little too obsessed with them) or simply being the most loyal, lovable sidekick to our sweet Riley Bear, Ellie brings a level of excitement and joy that we never knew we needed. She’s the perfect balance to Riley’s calm energy—think of her as the spark to Riley’s sunshine. Ellie, we love you so much—your energy, your playfulness, and the way you turn every day into an adventure!
