Kevin and his fraternity brothers roadtripped from Frostburg State University (Frostburg, Maryland) over to West Virginia University (Morgantown, WV) for a chapter of their sister sorority's anniversary. Kevin was interested, but Traci was unimpressed. Fast forward one year later, and the chemistry between them was undeniable. Through graduations, basic training, new jobs, grad school and a move to Florida (where they eventually decided to be together forever), their love has stood the tests of time.

On Christmas Day 2016, when it came time to exchange gifts, Kevin handed Traci a gift bag. Not surprised by the simple presentation, as she normally wrapped his gifts for him, Traci sorted through the tissue paper to reveal a number of picture frames. The first held a picture of them when they took their first trip to Disney World. The next, a picture of the two embraced, as they prepared to head out for a comedy show. Another, a photo from when Kevin surprised Traci with a cooking class she'd wanted them to take together. The last, a photo snapped just before midnight, from one of the many New Year's Eves they spent together. Traci thanked Kevin for the thoughtful gift, and started to place the frames back into the bag. At that moment, Kevin stood up, in front of Traci's closest family members, and proclaimed "I wanted to show you a snapshot of how much I love you". He then dropped to one knee, opened a box he'd hidden in his pocket, and asked her "Will You Marry Me?". Traci burst into tears, and responded with "Yes!", and the whole room erupted in celebration!
