Feel free to stay anywhere in Tulum but we highly recommend staying in Tulum's beach area so all the events are easily accessible. If you stay in the Tulum town area, it's a ~30 minute ride to the beach area and you'll need to budget accordingly. Tulum has a wide variety of options when it comes to hotels, it's hard to go wrong.
