Cedric and I worked together for about eight years but never had any interaction other than hello. Cedric was assigned to work in an area that worked closely with the department I supervised. He started coming to our office everyday expecting us to stop what we were doing to assist him. I fussed every day but he kept coming! Soon we began to have general conversation about some of everything! Then......he started feeding me! He got to know me and I him. We even knew how to order food for each other without having to ask! We entered a weight loss challenge at work and Cedric asked if I would prepare his food as I did mine stating he would take me to the restaurant of my choosing at the end. I agreed and little did I know that would be the first of many dinner dates, as friends! Cedric is the first guy I have ever dated who was truly my friend FIRST! The love we have for each other is AMAZING! We love each other even when he leaves the "seat" up and I fuss about it. I am truly marrying my friend!!!
