Things To Do

While you're in town, make sure to check out one of our favorites! From restaurants to breweries to museums, there's something for everyone in the Twin Cities!

Cafe Astoria

180 Grand Avenue, Saint Paul, MN 55102

Another gem of a brunch spot! The coffee drinks are always delicious, and the crepes are next level.

Hope Breakfast Bar - St. Paul

1 South Leech Street, Saint Paul, MN 55102

Another iconic Saint Paul restaurant. Fantastic brunch but be sure to make a reservation! You have to try the banana bread pancakes.

Hot Hands Pie & Biscuit

272 Snelling Avenue South, Saint Paul, MN 55105

Whenever it's too cold for Nicola's car to start or it snowed heavily the night before, Hannah and Nicola always make a stop here before Hannah drops Nicola off at work! Make sure you try the cinnamon roll warmed up with cream cheese icing!

Cossetta

211 7th Street West, Saint Paul, MN 55102

A Saint Paul institution. Classic Italian deli atmosphere with pizza, pasta, salads, sandwiches, and more! You have to try the Cosetta salad with the mostaccolli con ricotta.

Caffe Biaggio

2356 University Avenue West, Saint Paul, MN 55114

This is our favorite date night spot, especially because it's within walking distance of our apartment! This is a great hole-in-the-wall Italian place.

Urban Growler Brewing Company

2325 Endicott Street, Saint Paul, MN 55114

This is our favorite brewery in the Twin Cities. The drinks are plentiful, the food is good, and Hannah loves the variety of non-beer options! They are also an LGBTQIA+ and woman-owned establishment!

Sociable Cider Werks

1500 Fillmore Street Northeast, Minneapolis, MN 55413

This is where we shared our first kiss!

Centro

1414 Quincy Street Northeast, Minneapolis, MN 55413

This is where we went on our first date! The drinks are great and you can't go wrong with any of the tacos.

St. Paul Farmers' Market

290 5th Street East, Saint Paul, MN 55101

With plenty of food vendors, this is a great stop for Saturday morning before the wedding. Open Saturday from 7am-1pm and Sunday from 8am-1pm. The St. Paul Farmer's Market, established in 1854, is the longest-running farmers’ market in the state of Minnesota! The market is made up of a diverse variety of local vendors that provide an abundance of fresh, quality, local products.

Science Museum of Minnesota

120 West Kellogg Boulevard, Saint Paul, MN 55102

One of our favorite museums. Lots of hands-on exhibits.

Minnesota History Center

345 West Kellogg Boulevard, Saint Paul, MN 55102

Want to learn more about the rich history of Minnesota? This is the place to go! Hannah has fond memories of the tornado simulation from elementary school field trips here.
