The Hindu wedding ceremony starts with the welcoming of the groom. The wedding ceremony is performed beneath a decorated wedding altar called “Lagna Mandap,” represented by four pillars denoting the parents of the bridge and groom. The ceremony is performed in Marathi.
You can wear whatever you want! We want our guests to be comfortable. You can wear Indian or Western clothes. Either is appropriate and appreciated! If you want to wear Indian clothes, it's seen as acceptable for non-Indians to wear. We recommend to purchase your clothing in India, as it is cheaper.
The food for all wedding events will be Indian vegetarian. If you have any allergies or special dietary restrictions, please send us an email and we can see what arrangements can be made. During your stay in Nashik, the hotel will provide a variety of dining options to explore your palette.
