Cocktail Attire - The Cocktail dress code perfectly balances formal and casual. It allows for more flexibility and creativity. Men can opt for a suit and tie or khakis and a button-up, while women can dazzle in mid-length dresses. This wedding is a blend of formal elegance and a relaxed atmosphere. We ask guests to avoid wearing white and no jeans or shorts.
Absolutely, we love kids but there was only room for very close family to bring their kids. Please look at your invitation to see if your kids were invited. We ask that your kids stay as quiet as possible to allow others to hear the ceremony. If your kids are being disruptive, please leave the main ceremony area and watch from the terrace (after the bride has come down the aisle).
If the kids are included in the invite, we're excited to celebrate with them! We will have a kids' activity for them to enjoy. All kids under 12 will be served plated chicken fingers and French fries. Please let us know if your child would like the plated meal instead.
Please look at the number of people included on your invitation. If you feel that you need to bring added people, please ask Kiah to see if there is additional room.
The ceremony will be held outside on the terrace of Hyatt Recency over looking the river and fountain. Please be seated before the start time of the ceremony. We understand that a Friday afternoon wedding can be difficult to attend with work schedules. We completely understand if you can only attend the reception, and we ask that you RSVP accordingly.
While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and immersed in the experience. Our professional photographers will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterward. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a distraction-free environment for our ceremony.
The best gift you could give us is a good time on the dance floor to remember our night. If you don't want to come empty-handed, we would appreciate money towards our honeymoon to make it unforgettable.
