The Alex's met when they were very young - too young to remember, in fact, since they were just infants at the time. After a brief hiatus on the West Coast, Spancake returned to Cary, NC where he and Alex became quick friends again. Spancake is known for his naïveté, but also for his dependency and his unwavering kindness.

Megan is Lauren's hilarious cousin! Every summer, Megan would come down to Atlanta to spend a week with the Kesters and the two would have a blast getting into all kinds of Shenanigans.
Patrick Luo

Patrick and Alex met in 3rd grade and have been friends ever since. They went to the same elementary, middle, high school, and university. Of all their friends, Alex may have been the one to see Patrick's parents the most often, which would still only be about 5 times. Patrick is a great friend that Alex will keep for the rest of my life!

Lauren and Ariel met on the Track team at Penn. They bonded over longs runs on South Street and long nights of "studying."
Michael Laverick

Michael and Alex became close friends in middle school. They spent countless hours at Lake Gaston together dodging falling trees and getting thrown off inner tubes while his parents flung us around at high speeds. Michael has the biggest heart of anyone Alex knows, and he is honored to call Michael a friend.
Tiffany Tzeng

Lauren and Tiff met through Ariel and instantly bonded over Mad Mex's margaritas. Each year, they plan a reunion trip with Ariel. Last year it was Quebec and this year it was Vermont.
Andrew Tie

Andrew and Alex have been friends since middle school. They became good friends in high school and bonded over their love for food. Andrew is among prom royalty, having won the Prom Prince award during their junior year, so Alex is honored to be in the presence of royalty on his wedding day.
Molly Hanna

Molly is Lauren's cousin! They've grown up together and have made many precious memories on family vacations, college tours, and now visits to see each other.
Kenji Jameel

Kenji "Glass Ankles" Jameel and Alex met through cross country in middle school, and went on to share the highly coveted position of Co-Captain of the high school cross country team. Kenji is a gentleman and a scholar, and Alex is glad to have him stand by his side on his and Lauren's wedding day.

Jackie is Lauren's cousin! She and Lauren have grown up together and love to wear Snowman onesies!

Jonah and Alex met during freshman year of college through Penn Running Club. They figured out pretty quickly that they would be good friends, and ended up living together for the remaining 3 years of school. Jonah is one of the smartest people Alex knows and will do great things for the world!

Sarah is Lauren's sister! Even though they are almost 9 years apart, the two are very close. Now that they live apart, time together is very special!
