We met at Indiana University, where it all began at a sorority date party with different dates! Jake finally built up the courage to ask Jamie on their first date at Nick’s. What started as a simple night out quickly turned into something much more meaningful. Not long after, we found ourselves navigating a long-distance relationship while Jamie was at Johns Hopkins and Jake was working in Dallas. Despite the miles, we grew closer with every visit, call, and shared moment. After two years, we finally closed the distance and moved in together in Dallas. In Costa Rica, after a romantic walk along the beach at sunset, Jake proposed — and of course, Jamie said yes. Now, we couldn’t be more excited to start this next chapter together.
