This is a perfect example to branch out of your comfort zone. Giles and Kesslee met at Beach Break Boardshop on January 27th, 2017. Kesslee went into the shop where Giles worked for inspiration for a final project. When she entered she immediately noticed Giles. After trying to play it cool and seem uninterested Kesslee finally started a conversation with Him. They ended up talking for about three hours until the shop became too busy and Giles needed to get back to work. Kesslee mustered up the courage and wrote the following on a business card he had sitting up front. "You are kinda cool :) Text me ...." and she left her number. The rest was up to Fate.

Giles and Kesslee Had been together for almost 2 years. After moving in together and spending ALL DAY EVERYDAY together, Giles finally gave into Kesslee's nagging. October 3rd 2018: Maui, Hawaii. A place of fantasy and this is where it happened. Kesslee and Giles were on a trip with Giles side of the family in Hawaii. unannounced to her, they had been planning this day for months. Kesslee was Under the impression that they were going to get family photos. So everyone got all dolled up and headed to the beach. When they arrived they were told to "wait" for the photographer who was running "late." Giles said, "Let's go on a walk." So he took kesslee's hand and they walked down the beach! There it was... a beautiful flower ring on the ground. Giles took Kesslee into the ring and gave a beautiful "speech" and knelt down. Kesslee LOST IT! It was perfection... But little did she know it was going to get better. As they were taking "family" photos, Kess and Giles were told to face the water. When they were allowed to turn around Kesslee was surprised to see her mother and grandmother standing there arms out! She immediately burst into tears. Giles Made sure Kess was surrounded by everyone who loved her and it meant the world! BIGGEST SURPRISE EVER!
