What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding attire is Cocktail/Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, but so are suits, cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, knee-length dresses, etc. The bride loves bright, pastel, and/or light summer colours so would love to see guests incorporate this if they feel like it. *Bridesmaids are wearing butter yellow dresses!* TO THE GIRLS: Please note that as our ceremony is outside and you will be walking on grass and/or loose gravel, you will likely want to avoid stiletto's!

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids invited?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding will mostly be an adults-only celebration. Only children in our immediate family (will be listed on invitation) and bridal party will be attending. Thanks for understanding!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking behind the venue. To access the parking lot, at the Napier Rd. and Melwood Dr. intersection, you will turn south on Napier Rd. On your left hand side, you will see a sign that says Sydenham Ridge parking - you will turn there.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that phones and cameras are put away during our wedding ceremony as our lovely photographer and content creator will be capturing these special moments. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures as you would like though!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please make sure to RSVP no later than May 13th, 2026. If you do not RSVP in time, we will assume that you are unable to attend. We will miss celebrating with you, but we will need to provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given us.

What if I am not booking accommodations and am not planning on taking the shuttle because I live in the surrounding area?

Answer

If you are not getting accommodations and will not be taking a shuttle, please note that the venue is in the countryside. Therefore, uber's may not be reliable, but there is a Strathroy cab company called Leo's Taxi (519-615-0111). Our coordinator suggested calling ahead to pre-book some timeslots/see options just incase you may need them. You are more than welcome to take the shuttle to the Holiday Inn though and call an uber there as it is just off the 402 (just be sure to make note you need the late night shuttle when you RSVP). And PLEASE no drinking and driving!
