I met Derrick my freshman year in college. We both were in a STEM program that required us to be on campus earlier than everybody else. And because of that, it kind of forced us to find our group of friends to ease us into college life. We related to each through video games, Anime, and life experiences. We've seen each other through the ups and the downs. The hardships we went through in college solidified our brotherhood.

I first met Jordan in Elementary school in the 5th grade. He lived around the corner from my grandparents house, so ultimately we rode the same bus to school everyday. We used to always trade Yu-Gi-Oh cards and duel against each other and friends.

Growing up as cousins, Keshia always looked up to Kenita. She definitely has the mama bear personality. Kenita has been apart of so many of my best memories, it's only fitting that she'll join me as a bridesmaid on my greatest adventure yet!

Brandon is Keshia's best friend of 15 years. They met in high school (POTOMACCCC) and have been inseparable ever since. Whether it's ski trips, brunch, wine night, or a night out on the town, Brandon is right there. The wedding day wouldn't be complete without Brandon's unforgettable presence.

I also met Otis my freshman year in college through the STEM program. Otis was my first roommate and If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have talked to anyone in that dorm. We both majored in Mechanical Engineering which landed us in majority of the same classes and fueled the fire of friendship. Otis is the type of person who if he sees you in a bad mood, he makes you get up and do the Cha-Cha slide. He'll find a way to make you laugh or spit a freestyle with him. He's definitely the life of the party.

Kendra is a great friend. We met almost 7 years ago working at The Cheesecake Factory. She is always inspiring me to grow and do better! Kendra always knows when to text with a motivational message and has been a great help with giving advice when I had Kai and wedding planning. I'm honored to have her by my side!

I met "Bebe" in elementary school but he was a hot head back then so we didn't really hang out at the time. During our junior year in high school, he decided to join the Track team and from there we began to build a bond. During the summers Me, Roc, and Jordan used to walk over to Bebes Gma house and just kick it and talk about any and everything.

Keshia met Brooke in college. She wasn't my roommate but she might as well have been! We were always in each others room spending the night or having a pizza and soda from Schafer. At the wedding, you'll find Brooke tearing up the dance floor because she is always having a good time!

I first met Roc in middle school but we rarely crossed paths. We didn't really become close until junior year in high school. We both were on the track team and ran the Hurdles together. We created our own little clique with the other members and named it "Hurdle gang". If it wasn't for Roc i probably wouldn't have enjoyed Track as much as i did.

Kai is Keshia and Bryce's son. He loves watching PJ Masks and Sing 2 and has the biggest smile that will brighten up the room. Kai loves when books are being read to him. He will pick up a book and walk over to you and sits down while you read it. Kai will be accompanied by his "brother-cousin" Jaylen down the aisle.
