Our first encounter was in middle school, just a bit of casual flirting. We crossed paths again in high school, this time with more conversation, but still nothing serious. Looking back, we truly believe God has a funny way of showing up when you least expect it. In March of 2009, Mel and I reconnected once more, sharing countless phone calls and handwritten letters. Then, on February 9, 2019, we officially began dating. Through every season, every twist, and every challenge, we have continued to choose each other and that choice has led us right here today.
