It all started when Kerwin got back from boot camp in 2019 and downloaded the dating app called Christian Mingle. He had been praying for a wife for over 7 years. Little did he know, God was also leading Katharine to this app, and the night they each downloaded it, they matched. Kerwin said "Hi :)" and then began a long phone call that lasted from sundown to sunrise. After a whole night of talking, they decided to meet in person. From the moment they locked eyes, they knew it was meant to be. It was a match made in heaven, literally.
