we are getting💍

Our journey began with me, Shequta, living in America and Kervitch living in the Dominican Republic. Kervitch and I were introduced to one another in the Summer of 2017 by a mutual friend. One day while my friend and I were communicating through a video call via WhatsApp I was introduced to his friend Kervitch. Kervitch and I began to communicate daily through WhatsApp video calls and messaging. After a few months of communicating Kervitch and I knew we wanted to become much more than just friends, and we began a relationship. On december 31,2017, I flew to the Dominican Republic to be with Kervitch.. After such a difficult time apart we were overjoyed to be in one another’s arms. For New Years, Kervitch and I went to the Monument in Santiago, where we enjoyed the Christmas lights and the many shows that were being held. We went to church together, cooked together, and went to Sosua Beach together. This trip confirmed for me that Kervitch is my soulmate. My life became complete after having met Kervitch, and experiencing the love, devotion, care, and companionship shown to me by Kervitch Dornema.

We went to Haiti to visit Kervitch’s family. On July 21, 2018 Kervitch, his family, and I left to attend what I thought would be his cousin’s wedding. However, it was not a wedding, but a surprise engagement party for Kervitch and I, at which he proposed to me, and I said “YES”😱. We spent this day dancing to “Only You” by Ric Hassani, and embracing the love shown to us by Kervitch’s family whom I now consider to be my family. I am so excited to be marrying the man God himself made for me. We are looking forward to what God has for us as husband and wife.
