First Date: April 22, 2021 Dating Anniversary: May 21, 2021 Proposal Date: May 24, 2025

Our first date depends on the person you're talking to. John loves and celebrates the Lilac festival of 2021 as our first date, when things went as planned. I consider our first date to be the day before John's 24th birthday, when he tried to trick me into a military relationship, which I cut short quickly, but I couldn't resist the energy and passion that had already formed. He knew this was the end goal, and I was happy to be on board for the ride. This relationship has been the best ride with all the twists and turns.

The Filmore State Park was commissioned in 1925 and features a long, narrow gorge that includes five waterfalls, campsites, and a replica of President Fillmore’s boyhood log cabin. Located at the base of the gorge near a naturally-fed swimming area is the historic pavilion. Like these other iconic parks, the trails and infrastructure at Fillmore Glen were created and enhanced by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in the 1930s. Stone-walled paths, numerous bridges that crisscross the oddly named Dry Creek, and stone staircases are all beautifully and thoughtfully blended with the stunning natural setting.
