Father of the Bride
Mother of the Bride
Maid of Honor
I have known Kerstin for almost my entire life. I say almost because she wasn't in the hospital when our mom had me. So, almost. She is the only person I would have chose to be my big sister. During our childhood, we fought all the time. Only in high school was when we began to get close. She was a senior and me a freshman and our mom went back to school to become a teacher, so Kerstin had to drive me home from school each day. It was on those consistent 10-15 minute drives that we really started to get to know each other. I would without a doubt call Kerstin my #1 best friend. She is my secret keeper, shoulder to cry on, and person to laugh with. All in all, she is my person and forever will be. Love you!!

Kerstin & Rebecca first met at Catawba College in a Worship Team class, and bonded quickly over dinners afterward. The next two years saw many adventures (and mis-adventures), including knitting lessons, many church events, and even camp counseling! In spite of the distance between MD and NC, they have managed to sustain an annual camping trip to keep their kindred spirits fueled and encouraged. If they're together, they're likely talking food, games, Harry Potter, or faith!

To this day, I'm not sure if either Kerstin or I are sure just exactly HOW we me. But ~ approximately ~ 6? 7 years maybe? Later we've done a LOT of life together whether it was church, juice, or dreaming about our futures, it's been one of those friendships you cherish in EVERY season! & I am EXTREMELY honored to experience more life along side her and Will on their BIG day!

Melissa and Kerstin became friends while attending a church group at Steffanie and Eric's house in 2017. They have remained friends while walking through life together, sharing locations while meeting strangers, and Melissa making fun of Kerstin's only being allowed to eat water because of her dietary restrictions. Melissa is PUMPED to stand beside Kerstin and cry during the wedding.
Bridesmaid
Kerstin is the older sister that I never had. I've known her since I was 2 when I met her sister, Mychaela, in swim lessons and we became best friends (as did our moms). Kerstin and I also share a love for science and the environment. We were both in a school club called Envirothon and have been on many trips together including my first campling trip where she taught me how to set up a tent. Kerstin was someone I could go to for advice about anything growing up, and always looked out for me like I was a second little sister. After 21 years of friendship, attending Christian concerts together, Envirothon trips, many (frustrating) games of Catan, and years of Christmas cookie making sessions, Kerstin is more of a found family member than just a friend, and I am so thankful for that.
Bridesmaid
Kerstin and I met at Catawba, but didn't become friends until after we both had graduated and joined a life group for newbies to adult life. We have been roommates for over 3 years now and have shared many many memories together during this time! She's a wonderful "Aunt Kerstin" to Kati Mae (my pup) and willingly shares her Chick-fil-a fries and broccoli with her.
Bridesmaid
Steffanie and Kerstin first met through church activities. Steffanie had just started a Bible study and Kerstin was one of the first to join. They became quick friends despite being very much opposites in almost every way. Their favorite adventures and shenanigans over the years have included playing Dungeons & Dragons, being roommates for a short time, and board game nights.

Best Man
Will and I have been friends for a long time...long enough that I don't really even remember him not being my friend. He's pretty much like one of my brothers, always welcome at our family gatherings. It's always a blast hanging out with him and an honor to serve alongside him in all sorts of youth ministries. He's been a great friend and one of the few that has ever played a better game of croquet than I...we all remember that epic shot from last year. I'm thankful for our friendship and I'm a better man because of it. You're the man, Will!

I've known Will for a long time. We went to school together late middle school. I'd say we became closer when I saved his life. We were at a cabin in the woods over the summer & we ventured off the beaten path to a natural spring where he, I & some friends decided to take a swim & relax under the sun after a long day of hard work. Then out of the blue as Will was on the shore, I noticed something. I quickly lunged out of the spring & warned Will of the terrestrial arachnid. The dastardly Carolinianus, other known as Carolinian native scorpion was on him ready to lunge it's sweet cold blade of death into him. It would have surely been the end of Will. Thankfully I was there. In some cultures they would say that he be in life debt to me, but being Will's friend is good enough for me.

Will and I met in 2012 and the adventures have been boundless ever since. From running the church coffee shop to running from dinosaurs, from wrangling kids at camp to dancing our way to 4th place at National Fine Arts, Will has always been an authentic, funny, and true friend. I have loved watching him grow in his relationship with God, his talents, and now into this amazing new step of marriage. Will, you really struck (gold) with Kerstin - I am so excited for you two!

I think we first met at our church youth group. I don't really remember a specific event when we became friends, but I guess it was working on many VBS's and Helloweens and participating in other youth group activities. And we are good friends probably because of our common interest in serving God in the ministries at our church and playing volleyball, video games, and watching movies (Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and many others).

Will and I met at our church and we have bonded over working at different outreaches there, including building crazy things like life size pirate ships and dinosaurs.
