Why did I get two Save the Dates/Invitations?

Answer

Due to the capacity of our venue, we are having a smaller wedding and reception on Friday night with a larger reception on Saturday night where we are able to invite all friends and family. We hope you understand and respect our decision.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Children are more than welcome to come! On the other hand, if you want a night out without the kids, that is most definitely fine with us too! (Hint: There is an open bar) Whichever you decide, please RSVP accordingly.

If I come to the wedding and reception on Friday night, do I have to attend Saturday night as well?

Answer

We want everyone to feel welcome to our second reception on Saturday night, however please do not feel obligated to attend if one night was enough for you and your family!

If I am invited to the wedding ceremony, what time should I arrive?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm, so please arrive early at 5pm to find your seats and get settled before we begin.

What should I wear to the ceremony on Friday night or the reception on Saturday night?

Answer

Friday night: Our ceremony will be outside while the reception to follow will be inside and outside of the barn. Please dress comfortably for the weather for the beginning of October. Jeans and a nice shirt are welcome, as well as sun dresses, boots, or anything you would like that is nice and also comfortable. Saturday night: The reception will be held outdoors in a covered tent. Again, please dress accordingly to the weather. Tonight will be more casual due to it being a reception only and no ceremony.

I am traveling from out of town. Is there a hotel with rooms blocked out for me to book?

Answer

Yes. We have hotels in both Crawfordsville (where the ceremony is located) and in Lebanon (where the Saturday reception is located) with rooms blocked out for booking. Details about hotels can be found on our "Travel" tab.
