When should I arrive at the event?

Guests can start arriving at 4pm. There will be no formal ceremony, just dinner, drinks, and fun.

What is the dress code?

Answer

As casual as you want to be. We will be in Grant's parents backyard, so you will be walking in grass, so heels are probably not recommended. It will also be outside in Louisiana in June, so it will be hot, so we also recommend leaving your suits and ball gowns at home. Anything from a casual sundress, shorts, or jeans would be appropriate. This is more of a party than a formal reception, so completely up to you as to what you want to wear!

Are children invited?

Of course! Bring as many kids as you want (but make sure you have their parents' permission).

Are you registered anywhere?

Answer

As we have been married a year, we really do not need any household items or things that are on a typical wedding registry. We also live in Colorado Springs, so transporting large gifts back home will be difficult for us. Gifts are really not required, but if you would like to contribute something, we have a newlywed fund and an opportunity to donate to Open Bible Medical Clinic and Pharmacy (both available on the registry tab).
