We met during our senior year of high school in AP physics (how romantic). Nothing much came of our relationship in high school other than being good friends. It wasn't until right before graduation that we decided to try things out as more than friends. We spent the whole summer before college together before deciding to go our separate ways. It was best for us to get that college experience separately since we were going to be in different state. We knew that we would find each other again if we were meant to be together. November 20, 2015 was the official start of our relationship. From there until May 2019, we went through long distance while visiting each other at our separate colleges as much as we could. Although it was hard, we are very happy to have made it through the distance and make it to this point in our relationship!

After a little over 4 years together, Dan got down on one knee!!! This day started off at one of my favorite restaurants, California Pizza Kitchen. He didn't seem nervous at all so there was no visible signs that the proposal was coming, but I just had a feeling. Once we finished lunch, we went for a walk around Valley Forge Park- right by the arch. When we made it to one of the benches, he got down on one knee and proposed. Luckily it was an easy and quick yes from me because it was freezing! It was perfect because we happened to be the only two people in the park at that time so it was very intimate.
