Our guests safety is our top concern, especially taking into account COVID-19. We have significantly reduced our guest list to be roughly 60 people. We will be having all activities including the ceremony and reception outside to allow for airflow and less interaction with common touched surfaces. We also will be having serving staff for all food and appetizers and they will take the precaution of face-coverings, gloves, cooking the food onsite away from any guests, and other food safety considerations such as plexiglass blocking any contamination from guests for the food stations. We also are asking all guests to follow the below FAQ self-health check guidelines.
A self-health check is reviewing your personal health situation for reasons to be concerned for transmitting flu, cold, COVID-19, or other. In order to conduct a self-health check follow the three key steps. Step one if you or someone you have come in contact with have or might have been exposed to someone diagnosed or tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 14 days please stay home. Second step take your temperature the morning of the wedding, if you have a temperature of 100.4 degrees F/38 degrees C stay home. Third step, check if you have the following symptoms from the CDC & MDPH websites which may indicate COVID-19; cough, shortness of breath, fever, chills, headache, sore throat, fatigue, congestion, muscle pain, loss of taste or smell, or other gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea, if you have any of these symptoms three days before or are diagnosed or test positive for the common cold or flu, even if you test negative for COVID-19 please stay home.
Cloth masks or face-coverings are encouraged during any time that you are not eating or drinking, especially during the ceremony as everyone will be facing the happy couple. We will have supplies of extra cloth masks available at the ceremony if you do not have one of your own. The couple will not be wearing masks but will remain 12 feet away during the ceremony.
Yes, during the ceremony benches will be spread-out at least 6 feet apart and we ask only immediate families and members of the same households to sit and/or interact within 6 feet apart. During the reception we will have a seating chart so that only immediate families and members of the same household will be dining together. All other times please be respectful of others space and stay at least 6 feet apart from those you are not from the same household.
