When should I RSVP by? How?

Answer

We kindly request that you RSVP by November 7, 2024 by going to the "rsvp" tab on this website and searching your name. We did not include a physical RSVP card to send back via mail.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dressy casual, think backyard wedding (kayakers, please at least shower and brush your hair prior to the ceremony). The ceremony will more than likely take place outdoors, so please bring layers as needed.

Where can I stay?

Answer

Brown Mountain Beach Resort has reserved all cabins and yurts for our guests. Please reach out to us at (704) 577-3013 (text is best) or the resort if you are interested in reserving one. Many cabins and yurts have already been booked, so please reach out ASAP. Once we have your name down for one of the cabins or yurts, you are good to go until the venue reaches out to you via email/phone before the wedding for payment. We have also blocked off rooms at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in downtown Morganton, which is a 25-minute drive from the venue. See more under the "travel" tab.

Will there be alcohol?

There will be a limited amount beer and wine available for cocktail hour and the reception, but please feel free to BYOB for your own cabin or yurt.

Will there be cell phone reception?

Answer

There is no cell reception on site, but there is wi-fi available in certain parts of the venue.
