Flight options, hotel blocks, and recommendations for our out-of-town guest.

Flight

Stewart International Airport- 35 minutes south of the wedding venue

The closest airport to the wedding venue is New York Stewart International Airport. Even though it flaunts "international" in the name, it's a bit small. Times may be inconvenient and fares may be more expensive than other options. But then again, you may luck out and it may work perfect for you! However, if you’re planning on going to New York City, this may not be your best bet as it is about an hour and a half away.

Flight

Albany Airport - 1 hour 20 minutes north of wedding venue

Much larger and more convenient than Stewart. If you plan on spending time upstate this may be the airport for you. However, this airport is about 3 hours from New York City. Definitely not where you want to fly in or out of if you plan to spend time in New York City

Flight

Newark Airport - 1 hour 40 minutes south of wedding venue

Lots of flights and convenient for those wishing to visit New York City. However, it is in New Jersey so public transit to the city will be more expensive than one of the other NYC airports. Also, depending on where you’re heading to in the city, the commute from here may have you running away. If you’re heading to Manhattan or the Bronx, you’ll be fine. For Queens or Brooklyn, keep reading

Flight

La Guardia - 1 hour 40 minutes minutes south of wedding venue

Also lots of flights and close to NYC. Unless you are heading to queens or somewhere close in Manhattan, this airport may be hard to get to.

Train

MetroNorth - 1 hour 50 minute train ride

If you're coming from the city, we highly recommend coming by train! - $18.50- One-Way - Get on at Grand Central, off at Poughkeepsie - These tickets are bought from a machine at the station and do not need to be purchased ahead of time.

Train

Amtrak - 1 hour 25 minutes

- $27.00 One-Way - **these tickets go up significantly if you do not buy them a couple weeks in advance! - no joke they will go up to over $100!!** - Get on at Penn station, off at Poughkeepsie
