IMPORTANT: Travel Documentation

The UK requires travelers to apply for an electronic travel authorization. Please navigate to the attached website for details. The estimated approval time is working 3 days, but we would recommend filling this authorization out at least multiple weeks in advance to be safe. In addition, if your passport will expire within 6 months of the travel date, you should apply for a passport renewal as soon as possible! Speaking from personal experience, that process can take months and months, so don't miss out because your passport is somewhere in transit!

House Or Rental

Belle Isle Estate

Accommodations on-site for guests have been confirmed - there is no need to book a room or cottage through Belle Isle yourselves! Further information regarding payment will be made available soon. Guests selected to be the Lead Booker for their respective cottages have been contacted. Irish Breakfast at Belle Isle for Saturday and Sunday is being coordinated with the venue based on responses to the RSVP questionnaire. The fee for breakfast(s) will be coordinated with payment for the accommodations. Please reach out with if you have any questions!

Flight

Dublin International Airport (DUB)

As Dublin International Airport is larger than Belfast International Airport (BFS), you may find cheaper flights into Dublin than into Belfast. The Dublin Airport is about a 2-hour drive from the venue. If you are willing to arrive at a specific time and/or wait at the airport, you'll be able to join a group of others in a hired coach that will take you directly to the venue.

Flight

Belfast International Airport (BFS)

Belfast International Airport is the smaller of the two airport options and is also slightly closer to the venue. It takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes to drive to the venue from the Belfast Airport. You may see slightly more expensive tickets, and shuttles will not be provided to and from the Belfast Airport. However, you're welcome to travel through Belfast if you'd like!

Diamond Travel Company Coach

We have booked a complimentary shuttle between Dublin International Airport and Belle Isle Estate through Diamond Travel Company (https://www.diamondtravelcompany.com/11-services) based on responses to the RSVP questionnaire. Please plan accordingly if you are using an alternative method of transport. Departure from Dublin International Airport: 1:00 PM on Friday, February 6th Departure from Belle Isle Castle & Estate: 10:30 AM on Sunday, February 8th We will update this section with the pickup location and other logistical information when those details have been confirmed.

Rental Car

Dublin International Airport Car Rentals

If you're unable to join us on the shuttle to or from the wedding venue, or would rather turn this into an extended trip, we recommend renting a car! We also recommend reserving a car in advance, especially if you prefer an automatic transmission, as most cars available are manual. Remember, driving is on the left side in the Republic and in Northern Ireland! As long as you have a valid U.S. driver's license, you will be able to drive a rental car. Make sure to choose the appropriate insurance coverage, or waive it if you have coverage through a different service (e.g. credit card benefits).
