FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kerrin Whitson-Twigg and Alec Whitson
Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

No. While we love your children, we are unable to accommodate them at our venue, with the exception of a select few who we simply cannot enjoy our day without.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

No. Due to the intimacy of the venue, we are unable to extend invites for plus ones, unless otherwise specified. We hope to see you there!

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

RSVP by July 19, 2025! It would help us if you RSVP as soon as you know if you can attend :)

Question

What accommodations are available?

Answer

There are bunk-style cabins available on-site! We encourage our guests to stay in the cabins for a summer-camp vibe and to avoid the hassle of transportation after the reception. There is also limited space for RVs or campers. Please contact Linda Twigg (949 691-9125 or lindakarentwigg@gmail.com) for more details! Please note: The cost for staying on-site will be $150/person, which includes dinner on Friday night, breakfast and dinner on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday. This DOES NOT include lunch on Saturday. If you do not want to stay on-site, there are hotels in Angelus Oaks, Redlands, and Big Bear City. You could also find airbnbs in Big Bear or elsewhere. Please let us know if you would like to book a cabin space when you RSVP or by reaching out to Linda (949 691 9125).

Question

When should we arrive?

Answer

Alec and Kerrin will be at Camp Conrad Chinnock Friday - Sunday :) You are invited to arrive around midday onwards on Friday and stay until Sunday. We are looking forward to a weekend of fun in the mountains with you!

Question

What should I wear or not wear?

Answer

The ceremony and reception have a cocktail dresscode. This entails knee-length or longer dresses, a dress shirt and slacks, or a suit with or without a tie. The ground is uneven around most of our venue, so block heels and closed shoes are advised. Please no t-shirts, jeans or white dresses at the ceremony or reception. Friday and Sunday are both casual and comfy.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will be outdoors! The weather should be mild but please bring a jacket. If the weather takes a turn we will move indoors.

Question

What if I have food allergies or diet restrictions?

Answer

Make sure to fill out this information on your RSVP so we can share with our caterers! If you are concerned, please also reach out to Kerrin or Alec before the RSVP deadline.

Question

What if i have more questions?

Answer

Let Kerrin or Alec know if you have further questions and we will do our best to answer you.

For all the days along the way
