Maid of Honor
This girl. She is my concert buddy, a wino extraordinaire, and all around goddess. Since the first day we met at Fourth Presbyterian Church mere months after I arrived in DC, I knew she was a keeper. Whether it was driving all the way to and from New Jersey in one day to see a country concert, day trips to Virginia wine country, and countless nights at her apartment eating Noodles and Company talking about nothing and everything - we always know how to make life memorable. When she decided to move to my home state of Illinois, I was crazy excited and happy for her - she had found the love of her life! I only bug her about every other week to move back to Virginia. No matter the distance or time zone between us, we always find time to FaceTime with a glass (or two) of wine. :^D
Best Man
I’ve known Jeremy Bishop for over 20 years. Our first encounter was the summer of ‘95 during Band Camp. Bishop was friends with our mutual buddy Josh (Jay-Z) as they both were on the tennis team the year before. Jeremy tagged along as we all got lunch and the rest is history. The high school years saw a tight knit group of friends persevere during band trips, weekend shenanigans, various girlfriends, car audio projects and conquering Michiana - from the beaches of St. Joe’s to field parties in Elkhart. Though now separated by several hundred miles, we remain extremely close. We share a fondness for tools, good music, Ford Trucks, greasy food joints, wandering around hardware/outdoor stores, and DIY projects we have no idea why we started or can estimate a realistic completion time.
