It was opening day of Oklahoma State college football. I was out with some girlfriends watching football and having drinks. We were also celebrating my last week as a travel nurse in Montana. Later that evening we went to the High Horse before ending the night. Lee was sitting across the bar being shy and kept looking over at me. The bartender brought me a Michelob Ultra and said the cute guy across the bar bought it. I went over to thank him, noticed his accent and beard, and sat down to chat! He put his number in my phone. Before I left I told him I had never kissed a guy with a beard so I made my move and grabbed his pulling him towards me and planted a huge kiss on his lips! IT WAS AMAZING! I went home. He asked for a date the next day. We went on our first date to the Edgar Bar on September 29, 2020. The rest is history!

He proposed on my 45th birthday in Montego Bay, Jamaica!
