Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Shuttle busses will pick up at the Residence Inn and The Bethesdan Hotel at 5:45pm to travel to Woodend Sanctuary for the wedding events. The buses will be providing return trips from the venue back to their prospective hotels as needed, with the final trip at 11pm.

I'm driving to the venue, what's the address?

Answer

The address for Woodend Sanctuary & Mansion is 8940 Jones Mill Road, Chevy Chase, MD 20815. The gate to enter is at that address and the gate to exit the venue is located on Brierly Rd. DO NOT use Apple Maps- it will take you to the wrong entrance, use Google Maps or Waze.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is some parking space at the venue. We recommend using the shuttle busses that pick up at the hotels to travel to and from the venue.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 26, 2026. Please feel free to text/call Kerra at 484-832-2538 with any questions or concerns.

Can I bring a date, my kids, my best friend, my dog, etc.?

Answer

Unfortuantely, our venue has a strict capacity limit so we will only be able to accomodate the guests specifically listed on the invitation. Only service dogs are allowed at Woodend Sanctuary & Mansion. Thank you for understanding.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please list your allergies when you RSVP. All appetizers and entrees are gluten free. We will have a mix of vegetarian and meat options. We will have both gluten free and regular wedding cake for dessert.

Where should I get dinner in Bethesda?

Answer

Bethesda has a great food scene! Some popular restaurants include Oishi Ramen Cafe, Beth's, Pisco y Nazca Ceviche Gastrobar, AP Pizza Shop, and La Panetteria. For breakfast/lunch, Kerra also recommends Tatte. All located near our hotel room blocks.

What's the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our ceremony and reception on June 6th is Cocktail Garden Party Attire. Wear cocktail dresses, long dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or suits. The ceremony is outside on grass so dress appropriately.

What is Woodend Sanctuary & Mansion like?

Answer

We're so excited to share our special day in such a beautiful place with you! Our ceremony will take place outside and there will be some grass that guests need to walk across. Please consider the weather and outdoor ceremony when choosing your outfit (maybe leave the stilettos at home!) Dinner will take place inside a tent with fans and the reception will be held in the air conditioned mansion!

What happens if it rains?

We will move the ceremony under a tent in the event of rain.
