Admittedly, we haven't been to all of these places but we did some research and found some places we think you might like. There are libations and nature with some food and shops in between. The great location on the water means great views but it also means crowds, call ahead if you can. 60+ craft beers, pub fare and because of its location you can drink a beer standing in both NH and VT at the same time!

Look closely you might miss it on the road. It's less than a half mile walk to the front steps of Madame Sherri mansion. Even if the parking lot is packed there are plenty of trails so things aren't too crowded. There's a moderate loop with a beautiful pond view.

Tito's is an amazing Mexican Stand with a great value tacos and burritos. The meats are great and heat depends on the salsa you choose. Use the online ordering to avoid the rush!

VT Specialty Cheese and Wine. There is a wide variety of local cheese, salsa, sauces, jellies, jams, honey and random gifts. You can sample most things but not the wine.

Great gift shop. Nice staff. Prices are somewhat reasonable, which is rare for a gift shop. If they are still sampling the cinnamon pear jam, be sure to try it. Also, ice cream, maple lollipops and Joe's Tea are available, which is pretty great.

For the inner farm child, the staff is incredibly friendly and informative. There are trails, a nature playground, and the cheese store next door was an added bonus! Prices are reasonable.
