Airbnb is the most affordable option in Medellín. Whether you are traveling in small or big group this will be the best way to save money! We recommend staying in El Poblano or Provenza neighborhoods. Feel free to text either of us to gut check.

Flight

We recommend booking your flights well in advance to ensure the best price. While some direct flights are available, most routes connect through cities like Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Orlando, Panama, or Bogotá. Major airlines that fly to Medellín include: Spirit, Avianca, COPA, Delta, United, and American Airlines. The airport is a ~25 min drive to Medellín.

Understanding most of you don't speak Spanish, we’re partnering with a transportation company where you can schedule your pick up before hand. Please contact Alberto: +573206946714 on WhatsApp. This is a trusted service which our wedding planner has used many times and highly recommend for anyone coming from the US. If you do not want to schedule transportation beforehand, you can also Uber from the airport to your hotel/airbnb, however waits can be longer as the airport is outside of the city.

We highly recommend downloading WhatsApp, it’s the easiest and most reliable way to call or text while in Medellín. Your airport driver will also use WhatsApp to contact you upon arrival. There’s Wi-Fi available at nearly every restaurant, bar, hotel, etc. so there’s no need to purchase an eSIM!
