Is this a one day event or two day event?

Answer

Our wedding and reception are on Saturday, August 29th! The Westbranch angler resort is both a restaurant (aka the River Run) and a fly fishing resort. You can choose to rent a cabin, which is a two night minimum. For those staying on the property, we’ll have a welcome party (dinner provided) and bonfire on Friday, August 28th.

I’m arriving on Friday, what should I bring?

Answer

- If it is easy for you to do so, please bring a camping chair for the bonfire. We’ll have some, but we can use a few extras. - A flashlight - Some snacks or lunch for Saturday. Breakfast is included with your stay. Dinner is served at 6pm. You’re welcome to go offsite for lunch. Your cabin is equipped with a kitchen, please bring anything you’d like. You may want to bring any extra beverages you’d like, although plenty will be provided from 4:30 PM and on. - your fishing gear, if that’s your thing. - there’s a shallow pool on site, you may bring your bathing suit. - comfortable shoes - clothing for all types of weather (your cabin is climate controlled)

Am I allowed to camp in my vehicle?

Answer

Unfortunately, the venue prohibits this. Please either plan on renting a cabin, or staying off site. Ask Colleen or Bryan if you’re coming by yourself and would like to share a cabin with other folks.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail / Semiformal. Our ceremony is on grass, so leave the stiletto heels at home.

What time should I be at the ceremony site?

Answer

Please arrive at our ceremony site by 3:45PM

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes, from 4:30PM to 9:30PM

Is there an after party?

Answer

We are allowed to keep the party going at the pavillion by the river following the reception

How can I save money while staying on site?

Answer

We can pair you up with others looking to share a cabin. Some have two bedrooms which comfortably holds 4 adults. Reach out to Colleen or Bryan for more details.

Is my child invited?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. However, exceptions can be made for babies in arms.
