Our wedding has been almost 7 years in the making and we are so happy for you to be a part of it!

Picture this: A high school cross country team takes a couple busses full of students to the local park for after school practice. We run miles around the wooded park before returning to our meeting spot, concluding practice. A boy walks up to a girl. “Hey! Are you from Ohio?” he asks as she turns to face him. The conversation passes quickly, ending in popsicles from one of the teammates as a birthday celebration. Little did that senior boy know at the time, but the new girl from Ohio went home that night and told her family about the weird boy she had met at practice that day.

As we packed our bags in anticipation for the camp season, I (Jessie) had a good feeling what this summer would ring....I mean Bring! With a good feeling about this trip, I packed for camp making sure to bring a pretty white dress! Monday rolls around and we enjoy our time at camp. I was excited when he mentioned that his family wanted to head the the Point to watch the sunset. When we arrived I was surprised that his family hasn't joined us yet. We didn't want to wait so we set up the blankets. Matt claimed to forget to lock the car, which happens a lot. As we start to walk closer to the car, Matt stops, pulls out a little box with a big rock! In disbelief, I look at Matt, then the photographer, back to Matt, and then focus on the moment with a special man asking me to spend forever with him! Later we returned to his parents condo where MY parents surprised me! This was so special because my mom drove from Wisconsin and my dad flew from Florida! What a special night to celebrate!
