In the summer of 2017, Keridwyn and Nathan were both attending their senior mission trip through First Colony Church of Christ. After being asked to move seats on the plane to Honduras twice by various other members of the youth group, Keridwyn ended up on the very back row of the plane next to Nathan. Keridwyn and Nathan also found themselves sitting next to each other on the second plane, third plane, and the bus (although this time much less by accident) on their way to Mission Lazarus. For the rest of that week, the two were completely inseparable and have been ever since. They began officially dating the following January and are here getting married almost five years later.
On their fourth anniversary, Nathan planned an entire day filled with activities the two had shared over the years, but especially those they enjoyed during the summer of 2017. From the card game they played all week in Honduras, to a teahouse where they spent almost every weekday night that summer, to Keridwyn losing terribly at chess, to their 2017 joint playlist, to miniature golf, Nathan had included a bit of everything. Finally, he took her to dinner at The Post Oak Hotel. Afterwards, they went into the hotel library where he got down on one knee, pulled out a ring, and asked her "will you wear it." It was the fastest yes she's ever said!
