James popped the question on the dock outside of the Crescent Lake Lodge in Olympic National Park... She said yes!

Back in March the couple took their first trip together: to Boulder, CO where Kerianna was speaking at a linguistics conference.

In 2018, James and Kerianna went to the March for Life in DC. The next year, they went together in Portland!

Being apart for a year has been rough, but it's meant lots of adventures on the West Coast!

4th of July 2018 was our first *official* 1:1 date.

We met at UMD where we were both a part of Ballroom at Maryland (he was much better!). They competed together as partners once in BAMs rookie/vet waltz.

Saying goodbye in the airport when I moved to Portland was one of the worst feelings ever... but it helped that James came out to visit the first month I was out there!

Coming home for Christmas was a wonderful (and unexpected) bright spot in my time on the West Coast. James came Christmas afternoon and we introduced him to a Frederick tradition: Christmas crackers!

Both of us LOVE the beach, so it stands to reason we'd go as often as we can... regardless of what coast we were on!

Hands down one of the coolest adventures we went on in Portland: the wooden shoe tulip festival!
