Per CDC guidelines, masks and social distancing at large gatherings are no longer required. With this in mind, and for the safety of our family and guests, please be fully vaccinated with the booster dose no sooner than 2 weeks prior to the date of this event. If you or anyone in your family are experiencing headache, fever, nausea, or any other COVID-19 symptoms, please refrain from attending. The event will be livestreamed! Details on live stream TBD. We will update this information accordingly as new guidelines are expected to be released in the coming days.
To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children.
Only service animals are allowed on the property and must be with their handlers at all times.
Free onsite parking is available. We will also be providing shuttle service to and from hotels in the area as well as Air BnB and VRBO locations (details must be confirmed in advance).
We will provide transportation to and from the venue and the room block hotels. More details to come as the date gets closer!
Our menu will certainly have gluten free options as well as vegetarian/vegan. If you have specific allergies that we may not know of, please let us know. This will be updated as the date gets closer and catering meetings occur.
Semi-formal allows you to be more relaxed than a formal black tie event. It gives you flexibility on comfort but be sure not to dress too casual. Think: dress pants with a jacket or a suit, and tea length to floor length dresses. Weather permitting, parts of the wedding including the ceremony will be outdoors. Blankets and heaters will be provided, but be sure to dress accordingly.
Parts of the event will be outdoors under cover and we will have heaters and blankets. On average, temperatures typically fall between 44 and 51 degrees. The sun sets around 4:45pm. This area of Virginia in winter tends to be unpredictable, however we will update you as frequently as possible as the day approaches.
There will be no smoking within 60 feet of any building or guest on the property. The designated smoking area is in the parking lot. Please respect the property and dispose of litter appropriately.
