Our Story

September 2015 Keri was settled in from Maui, HI to Seattle, WA after a few weeks. Before preparing for a choir performance early in the morning at the Iglesia Ni Cristo Locale of Seattle, Keri met Exodus at the end of the hallway. Keri knew of him through mutual friends, but hasn’t interacted with him until then. After a few encounters in church activities, Exodus decided to utilize Telegram to communicate with Keri, and asked about an upcoming movie premiere. She then invited him and some friends to eat an early dinner to celebrate her and Dign’s birthdays before the showing. November 2015 Keri and Exodus were invited to MJ’s birthday at an ice skating rink. She decided to sit along the sidelines, while Exodus was skating, and later hurt his shoulder. While the employee was recording information, Exodus wanted Keri as his emergency contact. So that the group can continue celebrating, Keri drove for Exodus and both left early. She then bluntly asked, “You don’t like me or anything, do you?” He said no. The following day, Keri received a phone call from Exodus to talk about last night. He admitted that he liked Keri. She admitted that she liked Exodus. They never had an official date of when they became a couple, but they knew that God directed their paths to each other, and have been together since. Keri and Exodus will be getting married in the Iglesia Ni Cristo Locale of Seattle, where they met six years ago.

Changes

We thank you for loving and supporting us since the beginning of our journey together. This pandemic has surprised us, and greatly affected our lives, but this will not keep us from being bounded together as one. Due to the underlying changes, COVID restrictions, and the safety of our family travelling from out of state, we will be having an intimate wedding with limited number of guests. We are deeply sorry for the short notice, and if it weren’t for COVID-19, we would have been able to celebrate all together. It is our hope to keep everyone safe and healthy. For you to be a part of our special day, we request a video greeting for the soon to be husband and wife to watch together. We love and appreciate you all!

For all the days along the way
