Flight
If you're traveling from outside the Philippines, we recommend flying into Cebu City (Mactan-Cebu International Airport). From there, you can book a short flight to Siargao Island (IAO). This option may be more efficient and cost-effective, allowing you to experience the beauty of the islands rather than spending time in the bustling city of Manila.
Flight
We recommend flying into Sayak Airport in Del Carmen, which is about a 40-minute drive to the northern part of Siargao, known as Pacifico—where our wedding festivities will take place. Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific Air, and Sunlight Air offer regular direct flights to Siargao from major cities like Manila, Cebu, and Davao. Flights start at 5:30 am, operating at approximately 2 to 3-hour intervals until 5:00 pm. Each flight has a duration of 2 hours.
Travel Note
Siargao charges a tourism/environmental fee of Php30.00 upon arrival and departure at the Sayak airport, so please prepare cash in pesos ahead of time to facilitate a quicker entrance and exit.
Travel Note
Please coordinate your airport transfers with your resort. Private van pickups, typically around Php2,000.00, are available, with the cost varying based on your chosen accommodations. These vans can accommodate up to 10 people with luggage. Alternatively, public vans stationed outside the airport offer rides at Php300.00 per person, but they have a maximum capacity of 12-14 passengers each way.
Travel Note
There are numerous ways to explore the island. For the adventurous, renting a scooter or bicycle is popular, with scooter rentals starting at Php350.00 per day, rates vary based on the rental duration.
