Where and when is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 2pm at St. John the Evangelist Church in Frederick, MD. We recommend arriving a little early to find parking and get settled. The address for the church is: 118 E 2nd Street Frederick, MD 21701 You may park at your nearby hotel or rental if applicable, or parking information at the church can be found by scrolling down on this link: https://stjohn-frederick.org/mass-confessions-schedule/

Question

Where is the reception and how do I get there?

Answer

The reception will be held at Attaboy Barrel House in Frederick, MD. Cocktail hour will begin at 3:30 with a reception and dancing to follow. The reception will end at 10 pm with the option to keep the party going at some walkable downtown bars after! It is an 11-minute walk from the ceremony to the reception venue, or a 5-minute drive. There is plenty of parking at the reception venue and ubers/lyfts will be available as well!

Will there be transportation provided?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided on the day of the wedding. The ceremony and reception are an 11-minute walk and a 5-minute drive from one another. Local lodging all falls within an 11-minute driving radius. Being in downtown Frederick, Ubers and Lyfts will be available after the reception. You are welcome to Uber home or catch a ride with a friend and leave your vehicle parked at the reception venue until 12 noon on Sunday. Safety is a priority!

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

The dress code for the ceremony is cocktail, so feel free to dress to impress as you join us for our special day!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love children, this is an adults-only event. We want you to be able to let loose and enjoy the evening with us, stress-free!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation and RSVP mentioned you “and guest,” you are welcome to bring a date! If not, we ask that you please refrain as we have accounted for a specific number of guests.
