We met at a mutual acquaintance's housewarming in September 2019. Little did we know, we’re both Aggies and have many mutual friends, yet we had never met. We noticed one another immediately. Michael had just got a new tattoo that Keondra commented on, followed by Keondra taking a selfie to which Michael said "I'd double tap." Keondra asked everyone she knew about who this "Mike-Stan" was, and the consensus she gathered is that he was a chill and nice guy, but "generally uninterested." This was intriguing to Keondra as she thought to herself "bet, he doesn't know me yet." Shortly afterward, we hung out and spent the evening talking, so long that we closed the bar down! We stayed connected on social media for the next few months. As fate would have it, while Keondra was out with a friend she ran into Michael, and instead of having her friend drive out of the way to drop her off, Michael gave her a ride home. We ran into one another again a little over a month later at the Celebration Bowl and Keondra confronted Michael about how much of a stranger he had been. The holidays passed and Keondra got a promotion at her job in January 2020. Michael decided this was the perfect time to redeem himself and take Keondra out on a real official first date to celebrate her promotion. It was the best night and we hung out until about 3AM! We closed that restaurant down as well… LOL! Like the gentleman that he is, Michael dropped Keondra off and with that first goodnight kiss, sparks flew and sealed the deal for him! We began to hang out a lot more and Keondra expressed her love for wine, which in turn expanded Michael's palette. This quickly became a common interest amongst the two of us to set the stage for new experiences. The pandemic happened and we spent even more time together. 2020 was pretty much a blur, right?!? But so many great significant moments happened for us both during this time. We both started new jobs, purchased homes and took our first vacation together! The rest is history. We became inseparable! In 2021, we were more intentional about building a life together and what that looks like for us. We traveled to many places and experienced a lot of firsts together. We established a foundation that made us both secure in our communication, it was clear that neither of us was going anywhere... our love is forever so Michael sought to make it official. It was nothing short of divine how God brought us together, we deserve the best and we deserve one another. Michael wanted Keondra to have a special experience for the proposal, so he planned an event that highlighted her in the grandest fashion possible. Michael designed a ring with gem as flawless as Keondra is to his eye. It was important that the proposal was a surprise, so her friends arranged a Galentine's Day event for her to attend. When Keondra arrived, she saw a decorated venue filled with friends and family, and Michael prepared to pop the question. So... she said "yes" and here we are, ready to celebrate our love with each of you on our special day!
