I met this beautiful soul freshman year of high school. She wanted to be my friend so bad! LOL She invited me to her house a few times and finally when I turned 16 and was able to drive, I went. We were inseparable ever since. From minute phones and $5 in the gas tank to motherhood, entrepreneurship and wedding planning, we’re still as thick as thieves. She taught me how to be a friend and a sister. I can’t imagine going through life’s journies without her. Sabrina aka Crabcake, I love you deeply!

From Dollar Hollas ($1 entry party) Freshman year at Lincoln to guiding each other through life and motherhood. She’s been a rock in my and Gabbi’s life since the day we met…literally! Brittany has always taken care of me. She’s been my light during the darkest moments and has celebrated with me during the brightest. Britt is the friend you MUST call when you make it home so she knows you’re safe and makes you send your itinerary for every trip (if not there’ll be problems). ☺️ Britt, thank you for being my sister, baby’s godmomma and bestie. I love you bad!

Jasmine and I met in 2006 but here's where our friendship truly began. In 2010, I spotted Jasmine in line at a job fare. I cut the line to stand with her and that was the beginning! We were both offered the position and our friendship transitioned to family. Jasmine has been an honest ear, a confidant, a sister to me and an Aunt to Gabbi. exactly what to say. We're bonded for life. Jasmine, I appreciate the dynamic selfless human you are. I love you Sis!

I had no idea the girl with the bangs, sitting in the main aisle of the office would become one of my loved ones. One day Kysha (Bridesmaid) asked if she should invite Denise on our trip, I said NOPE, I don't know her lol. Look at me now, don't want to go anywhere without her. She's the right side of my brain, the finisher of my sentences, my roommate on all our trips and the Ebony to my Ivory! I'm blessed to have met a woman who I share so many similarities with while teaching me so much about myself. Denise, I admire you in so many ways. You're creative, smart, talented and beautiful inside and out. I'm so blessed to have you in my corner. I love you Chic!

My very first friend!!! She'd say I asked to be her friend first….I don't quite remember it that way lol. After a trip to the zoo, my mom allowed me to visited her house and I didn't want to leave! My fondest childhood memories are ones I shared with Tiara. We continue to share moments that I will cherish for a lifetime. I can't wait to share my wedding day with my first friend in the world. Tiara, your energy is beautiful. I appreciate you being my friend and going through life with me. I love you beautiful!

Danielle, my Sousin (Sister Cousin) is my rider! She won’t answer my text for 6 days but she will definitely show up for me! 🤣🤣🤣. Whether I'm celebrating my birthday or ready to knock someone out....my Sousin is there! There are no limits to what my Sousin will do for the ones she loves. Danielle is the strongest, most determined woman I know. I am honored to have her by my side as I say, " I do". I cherish our bond and love her the most!

Ms. Kysha...Tell It Like It Is...Catching Flight not Feelings...I'm In, What Time We Leaving....Lee!!! This chick will book a flight to the moon if you told her you wanted to go. She's going to show up and be a good time. We have shared some of the most memorable moments of my life. From happy hours and birthday getaways to brunches just because, I'm always counting her in. Everyone needs a Kysha to wipe your tears, book a trip, set the entire itinerary before departure, make you and strong (not so tasty) drink lol then laugh about it until you forget what you were laughing about in the first place (in that order). Phoenix is about her business, always has been. You never had to get on her about doing school work. She’s all grown up now, earned her Bachelor’s degree from North Carolina A&T and is navigating her own life. We love and adore her very much and we look forward to sharing this occasion together.

Kindle is our quiet observer, until she comes out of her shell. She’s very intelligent, and can hold her own in conversation on various topics. She has a great sense of humor, and likes to make sure those around her are well. We’re excited about her future, we know it’s going to be bright.

Madison my Paddi Pooh! Madison was a tough little cookie as a little kid. She was shy and not at all here for the hello's or the, "can I have a hug" business. Then Madison grew up! Besides the fact that my niece is in the National Honor Society 😜 and beautiful, she is hilarious too!!! If Madison was there, just let her tell the story so I can cry laughing. I am extremely proud of my niece. I love my Paddi Pooh!

My Granddaughter Niece Cupcake! Maliah is the oldest child I know. Her name is really Brenda or Eunice (blame her mom, not me lol). Little bossy, super intelligent, extremely helpful and the cutest flower girl. I can't wait to meet her on the dance floor! Lil Can't Stop Won't Stop is going to have a ball!
