We met when Carly's family moved from Lemont, IL to Hartland, MI. Carly's family moved in across the street from Kyle's dad on Matthew Court. One of our earliest memories of each other is playing tag at a bonfire!

We took our time to start dating and officially became a couple in August 2012, just in time to go our separate ways for college! Carly went to the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Kyle went to Michigan State University. We spent the next four and a half years dating long distance, separated by 8-ish hours and 370-ish miles. We survived via Facetime, Kyle's many roadtrips, frequent Megabus incidents and train mishaps. We both graduated in December 2016 and moved on to our next adventure, this time together!

Kyle's job opportunity took us to North Carolina where we have lived for three years. We moved in together, bought a house, and started our respective career journeys. We find it fitting to get married here, where we could FINALLY be in the same place. We cannot wait to see you all for our big day!
